Maurice Lacroix presents its first own manufacture movement – the ML 106 calibre in the new Masterpiece Le Chronographe. This heralds the start of a new era for the Swiss brand. The Masterpiece Cinq Aiguilles was launched in 1992 as the first model with a complication developed especially for the Masterpiece Collection. Hugely successful, this attractive timepiece has been key in shaping the image of the exclusive collection ever since. 2006 sees Maurice Lacroix present a further development of this bestseller: Although the new Masterpiece Cinq&Cinq still features five central hands, its basis is now a current manufacture movement.
